We will start learning about fossils this week. We will be reading lots of research articles about fossils to help make sure we are ready for our end of the year reading test.
Math
*** This week we will finish up our study on fractions. We will then begin learning about measurement. *** We will hopefully take our test on fractions on Monday that was scheduled for last Thursday. We will have a QUIZ on Friday over measurement. Quizzes and test always look very similar to the things that we have been working on in class. Make sure you are checking your child's binder to see what is going on in math. *** Fact Fluency quiz will be on Wednesday. It will have 50 questions and be all of the facts 0 - 10. The kiddos will still have 5 minutes to complete these problems. PLEASE PLEASE be studying all your facts! We have a new incentive program for making an A!! Ask your kiddo about it :) *** After this week, the fact fluency quizzes will move up to 60 questions.
